  • The PORTHOLE II is a fast (21 knots cruise capable), comfortable and seaworthy vessel built in 1980 by Post Marine in Mays Landing, New Jersey. 
  • The  vessel is well equipped as follows:
    • Twin 410 Horsepower Detroit diesels, 8 KW Onan generator
    • 500 gallons fuel, 120 gallons water
    • 1 - 8 person "SOLAS A" inflatable
    • Danforth style sand anchor with 1000' of rode, additional 2500' available depending on destination
    • "Emergency - storm" 45 pound anchor, chain and rode (below decks)
    • Fully enclosed heated and air conditioned cabin, fully enclosed private stand up head
    • 6 - 110 volt (1650-2650) watts of deck - spreader lights
    • Microwave, color TV, VCR and am/fm CD & cassette stereo
    • Open "T" style ladder
    • Full length swim platform
    • Comprehensive First aid kit
    • Oxygen with 100% delivery capability.

    • The vessel is powered by twin Detroit Diesel 6-71  TI's (6 cylinders, 71 cubic inches each), 410 horsepower each. Turbocharged and Intercooled
    • Turning through Capital transmissions at a ratio of 1.5 to 1, the 1 3/4" inch propeller shafts turn 3 bladed 24" by 25" nibral propellers.
