07/07/04 |  Finally got to dive today. Went for a ride on the "Strike Force" and hit the Logwood and the NE Sailor. Although we knew the Logwood was dove this weekend, it still made for a nice dive. The warm blue water down to about 45' easily had visibility of 50'. No lobsters, few fish and only a couple of small scallops were seen. Temp on the bottom was 41-42 with about 20' of vis.The Sailor was a little warmer and had less vis, but was still a good dive.

| 08/07/04 | We entered Shark River Yacht Club's Fluke tournament today. Although we didn't come close we had a full day of catching Fluke and Sea Bass, with 18 keeper Fluke. |

| 08/13/04 | Offshore Powerboat Race Today. I took Budget Towing's 41 out for standby duty at the race. It wasn't long before one of the big boats launched off a wave and stuffed the bow into the next wave. (Pictures courtesy of Bruce D.) |

| 08/20/04 | Today we headed down to the Tolten, but with the seas growing and the boat pounding we stopped at the Mohawk. 15-20' vis and 53º. on the bottom. Same conditions on the Cadet. 1 bug for the day was brought up. |

| 09/02/04 | Today we headed down to the Tolten again. Got one dive in. 4-6 seas at the wreck, poor vis and tough getting on the ladder. |
