Dan Myers, April 24th, 2003

I only knew Dan for a little over a year and a half. In that time I found him to be personable, knowledgeable and an enthusiastic diver. An able crewmember on the Seeker, it was a pleasure having him as crew when I was running the boat.

Dan was part of the crew on my first solo trips on the Seeker, and from that day I knew it would be an enjoyable working relationship with him. He never hesitated to jump in and help on the deck and was always ready to jump at the chance to help an inexperienced diver, either with their gear or getting them to relax. Or just getting them to eat the leftovers.

Many people lost a good friend and dive buddy on April 4th, 2003, I lost the opportunity to expand my friendship with Dan. And as others, will miss him and his everlasting cheery demeanor.

The information below was taken from the Smokey's Diver Den web site.
